What are the environmental costs/benefits of the biodegradable plastic products studied in this project?
Hanne Raadal at NORSUS is leading this work package, where the aim is to provide a life cycle perspective on selected biodegradable plastic products.
The main tasks are in WP4:
Task 4.1 Define the value chains to be analysed and the need for data
Task 4.2 Model and analysis of the systems
Task 4.3 Follow ongoing research on development of LCA methodology to include plastic litter
Here on the left, a report presents the status of ongoing development of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology with respect to plastic littering issues and how plastic products can be eco-designed for the avoidance of littering.
